The AC wasn’t working from the very beginning, and the owner confirmed that he was already aware of the issue. It was 38°C outside, so having no AC was extremely uncomfortable. Luckily, it was only 2 days like this — otherwise, it could have turned my vacation into a nightmare!
My rental was from 14–17 August 2026, until late at night, and I noticed in the app that the same car had another rental starting at 7:30 AM on 18 August. This makes me concerned about whether the AC was actually going to be fixed before the next renter picked up the car(overnight), especially considering the owner told me he would “fix the AC after I return the car.” Great timing — unfortunately, that doesn’t help much when you’re the one renting the car and actually need the AC during the rental.
I also asked the owner about compensation, but my request was ignored.
The car was generally clean inside but the steering wheel and gear stick were extremely dirty and sticky. The windscreen washer fluid was empty
