received a call/text from PERSONAL # stating that I tried to steal her car. called me out of my name numerous times & threatened to assault me. spent over $500 on this rental. not sure why I was contacted 24 hrs later being threatened & accused of something I didn’t do. Later filed a false claim against me saying I damaged her vehicle when I had pics to support it was already there. saddened by my experience. vehicle is damaged & NOT well kept. don’t waste your money. hope this can help someone!
My experience with Getaround is starting to be really disheartening. Although the owner was available. We had to sit there for a while to turn the car on because the app wouldn’t let me proceed. Upon return, I had the same complications. Extending the rental was a horrible idea. It cost me dam near double for a day.
The owner wasn’t responsible for the headache I endured dealing with Getaround. I don’t think I will be using Getaround no time soon.
