Frank was very friendly, responsive, and always quick to reply to messages. The car was in great condition and well maintained. He provided clear instructions on charging the electric vehicle, including information about nearby charging stations, which made the trip hassle-free. He was also very supportive and helpful during the drop-off process. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience - I would definitely recommend renting from him again.
Things that we wished we knew before renting the car. We didn't ask and the owner didn't say either. So here they are: The car range was just over 200 km after fully charged. The charging was between 35-45 KW. There was a warning light that comes on every time after start driving. We would've rented a different car had we known all these.
The unfriendly part. The car was returned without washing based on a wrong assumption that the owner was gonna wash it anyways before renting out. The owner didn't say anything when we returned, in fact, he was friendly. But then he sent us a bill for 350 nok cleaning service. Thanks for the unfriendly communication. If we knew, we could've drive to a car cleaning, which we had time and mileage for.
Other than all these, the owner responded to our messages quickly, accommodated our time change request and even have us a lift back to town, which we appreciate.
All in all, wish we chose a different car.
