How is the driver's profile verified?

Before the driver can drive the car, Getaround will ask the driver to send us their driving licence, an ID and a selfie so we can verify their profile. Their motor vehicle record (MVR) will also be checked to ensure that the driver meets our rental conditions.

Foreign licences

To rent and drive a Getaround car in United States with a foreign licence, the driver must first meet our rental conditions. Depending on the country that emitted the driving license, you may also have to check and take pictures of the passport.
