Tracking an incident report

If a claim has been opened on your rental, a dedicated claims manager will follow up your case during its entire resolution and will be here to guide you step by step and answer your questions.

Claims management often requires several documents or pieces of information from both parties. Your claims manager will keep you informed of any new information or will get back to you if additional documents are required.

If you don't get any news about your claim for several days, don't worry! Insurance processes can be long. If you have no new information within 14 days, make sure the email address you use on Getaround is one you use and that you receive our emails.

You can follow an ongoing claims case on the corresponding incident page:

  1. Log in via the website, or go to your rental page in the app.
  2. Select the relevant rental from your list of ended rentals.
  3. Click on “Incident report #XXXXX”
  4. If you don’t find your answer there, click on “contact us” at the bottom of the page.
