You can view car prices on Getaround in EUR, NOK, or USD. Exchange rates update daily so you can easily compare rental costs.
Default currency settings
When you aren't logged in, your default currency is based on your location or device settings:
• Web: Prices match the website you’re visiting or your browser language.
• App: Prices match your device region (iOS) or SIM card country (Android).
NOK applies for Norway, EUR for euro-zone countries, and USD for all other regions. When you log in, your account automatically saves your preferred currency across all devices.
How to change your currency
You can update your preferred currency at any time:
• Web: Click the currency switcher in the website footer, select your currency and confirm.
• App: Go to the Account tab and select your preferred currency.
Where converted prices appear
Converted prices show throughout your search and booking process. Once your rental is booked, you will see prices in the car’s local currency.
What to know at checkout
The rental price breakdown is in your preferred currency, but you'll also see the original currency amount. The final payment button always shows the original currency that'll be charged to your card.
