Driver - Understanding the county court judgments (CCJ) assessment

Getaround conducts a county court judgments (CCJ) assessment of all UK drivers. If you have any CCJ unsatisfied, then you will not be able to rent cars on Getaround.

Getaround takes on a great responsibility when a rental agreement is made on the platform. We commit to collecting money for extra costs such as toll roads, extra kilometres, fuel, parking, etc. In addition, we are responsible for paying the deductible to the insurance company and later collect the money from the driver responsible for the damage. For this reason, we reserve the right to check the CCJ of every driver.
