Repairs after a breakdown are not covered by our insurance. It is your responsibility to maintain your car.

If the clutch breakdown is the driver's responsibility, repairs may be covered by our insurance. In that case, you need to hire an expert to provide a written report to that effect. In this case, you will be covered for part of the repairs and the cost of the expert. Please remember to report the claim within the 5 days following the incident. If you do not have the expert’s report yet, you can add it later to your claim.

For BE, DE, AT, FR & ES

If we have no information on the clutch life expectancy, we will assume a life expectancy of 120.000kms or 5 years, whichever is reached first. In addition to this, the clutch must be the original or have been replaced by the original’s manufacturer’s part by a certified mechanic. In this case, the driver will not be liable for any costs incurred.
