Driver - Renting for business trips

With cars available nearby 24/7, Getaround is a simple and flexible solution for your business travel needs.

If your company is based in France or Norway, you can create a Getaround for Business account. This account lets you invite your colleagues, who can mark each rental as either personal or business use.

For every business trip, you’ll have access to your Getaround receipts and invoices in a dedicated dashboard. You can also add a business payment method or choose a monthly bank transfer, allowing your colleagues to rent cars without paying upfront.

Create a Getaround for Business account

Go to the Getaround for Business page for France or Norway and fill out the form.
If you don’t already have a Getaround account, you’ll be prompted to create one before setting up your company account.

The setup takes less than 5 minutes — then you can start inviting your colleagues. If your colleagues already have a personal Getaround account, use the email address linked to that account. They’ll be able to book both personal and business rentals without switching accounts.

My company is not based in France or Norway

If your company is not registered in France or Norway, rentals work the same way as for regular drivers. You can simply add a business card to your personal payment methods. For expense reports, download your receipt directly from your account dashboard. If you rented a car from a professional owner, you can ask them directly for a VAT invoice.

General reminders

You can’t rent a car for commercial purposes (such as taxi or ride-hailing services).
However, you can use it for carpooling to share travel costs.
