Steps to follow in the event of a stolen car

If the car you’re renting is stolen during your rental, you will need to immediately inform the owner so that they can file a Police report, you can do this directly via the app by going to the Help section, and calling the owner, if you cannot reach them please ensure you write to the owner on the app by going to your rental and sending a message to the owner.

You must also notify Getaround's Customer Support, you can contact us by phone via the Help section of the app up until one hour after your rental has ended.

For rentals in Europe, your journey home will be organized by our Roadside Assistance partners.
